Designed for F150 with OEM Projector Headlights

2013 to 2014 F150s in the upper submodel ranges come standard from the factory with projector headlights, some with HID kits. While this does provide a pretty cool look, they're a pain to modify or replace if your truck gets into an accident. Our friends over at Recon have a solution for you with these awesome projector headlights. Each headlight comes standard with a specially designed projector lens that accepts both the OEM halogen and HID bulbs of the 2013 to 2014 F150 Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, FX2, FX4, or SVT Raptors. While taking the OE bulbs are great, Recon tops these awesome F150 headlights off with stylized smooth LED running lights, high-powered amber turn signals, and a blacked-out housing for an aggressive look both during the day and when the sun goes down.

Accepts Both Stock Halogen and HID Bulbs

This pair of Recon Projector headlights drop right into place of the stock projector lights of your F150 with absolutely no modifications. The lights accept your truck's factory bulbs and feature extremely simple wiring for the unique LED stripes that run across the housing. Recon's headlights also feature amber LED turn signal bulbs that hook into your stock turn signal wiring in an easy plug-and-play installation. These F150 projector headlights reuse your truck's stock mounts and hardware for a quick, hassle-free installation that gives your truck an awesome custom appearance - night or day.

OE Projectors Only: These headlights will only fit 2013 to 2014 F150s that came from the factory with projector headlights (either halogen or HIDs), and will not fit lower submodels with reflector lenses. Call 623-434-5277 for more information.

Recon's Warranty: Recon offers a 90-Day Limited Warranty for manufacturing defects, including condensation. These lights do have a breather vent that allows for pressure changes, which can trap some amount of moisture and cause condensation problems. 2013 Ford F150 Fx4

They stay Fogged up with any rain or humidity in the air. I knew I was in for that problem when I open the box and there was a whole color printed sheet about how they are gonna leak moisture inside the lens. Sure you can store asob packs in there and make other modifications but at this price you shouldn't have to. They look beautiful when dry and project beautiful bright light beams way down the road. Very adjustable. If you want a good look all the time and you live in a humid state, Spend the extra money and get the Morimoto lights.

Yes these lights will fit as long as your truck as long as the HID are the factory projectors.

Yep. These headlights require you to transfer over your factory HID ballasts and D3S bulbs for installation and operation.

I recently installed these headlights on my 2014 F150. How do I adjust them? The left side is 2 inches low at 20 feet.

The headlights have adjustment screws on the back to reaim the headlight vertically and horizontally.

You would need a complete OEM-style D3S Bi-Xenon HID Conversion Kit and a relay harness to convert your halogen wiring harness over to the Bi-Xenon system.

These headlights will not fit your truck as a direct bolt-on. You would need a Ford D3S HID system, and a relay harness for your truck's body wiring. The headlights that have bolt-on fitment to the 2014 XLT F150s with halogen reflector headlights are located right here.

I'm really interested in buying this for my 2011 Raptor. I know it only fits 2013-2014 F150 models but are there any ways to make it fit? what about this 2014 OEM HID conversion Harness kit from Raptor Retrofit? will it work?

You would need to totally convert your factory harness over to a D3S HID system like the 2013 to 2014 trucks. So you'd not only need the adapter relay harness, you would also require a complete OE-style D3S HID kit on top of the price of the headlights. It turns into a very expensive endeavor very quickly, but it can be done. You can call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 if you want to see about putting together a complete package.

I have a lariat F150 with regular headlights not HID lights, will this headlight unit work with my truck alone or will I have to order other items to make it work?

You would need both an OEM-style D3S HID kit and a relay harness of some sort in order to get these lights to work on your truck. They will not have direct bolt-on, plug-and-play functionality out of the box.

These headlights will bolt-in just fine. The issue is in the wiring harnesses and the functionality of the higher-tier submodels' dual-beam projectors, versus your truck's dual-beam reflectors. Now, you may be able to get these headlights to work, but you'd been in for a lot of custom wiring, and I'm not super sure what all that would entail.

This will not fit your truck as a direct bolt-on, unless your STX has been retrofitted with projector headlights. Verify whether your current headlights are reflectors or projectors before ordering.

This headlight kit will fit a 2014 Raptor and they actually reuse your truck's stock headlight bulb, which is probably best. That way, if it gets brought in for any work at either your dealer or another shop, there won't be any confusion.
