The Roush F150 3.5L and 2.7L EcoBoost Cold Air Intake improves intake airflow over stock by 25%, which helps your F150's EcoBoost V6 make new levels of horsepower and torque while also improving throttle response and fuel economy. The Roush Cold Air Intake Kit is a complete replacement for your factory intake and drops right into place of stock without the need for any drilling, trimming or permanent modifications to your F150. The intake even comes with a reusable open-air element air filter that saves you money in the long run and has easier maintenance than oiled filters.

The 2015-2017 F150 EcoBoost Roush Cold Air Intake Kit was carefully designed and engineered by Roush to deliver excellent fitment and performance results for your truck. Each intake is built around a open-air, conical air filter that features a larger surface area than stock to draw in more charge air than stock. The filter is paired up with a 105mm MAF housing and a complete inlet tube assembly that connects directly to your F150's turbocharger inlets to ensure maximum airflow into your turbos. The filter is protected by a full injection-molded air box assembly with a CAD designed lip so that it completely seals with your F150's hood to help prevent heat soak. The kit is topped off with high-quality EPDM couplers for all of its connections as well as all the hardware necessary for installation. 2017 F150 supercrew

Good product, though I feel like for the money roush could have mounted the bracket to the air box instead of using a template yourself. Be careful not to break the sensor when you relocate it. $10 but had to wait a day for the dealer to get it in. Overall it sounds better and feel like it is a little more responsive.

2016 Ford F-150

The installation was relatively simple once the removal of the original unit was complete, the intake casing is rather large so make sure that when you cut your holes you are lined up because a half an inch makes all the difference in the world.

2015 F150 Ecoboost

Great product, roush will always be a favorite of mine. The difference in power after installing this is great, it definitely gives you better throttle response and less turbo lag. Makes those turbos spool up in half the time, especially with a hood scoop to let it breath that much more. This intake does fit snug up against the bottom side of your hood, I was kind of sceptical it would at first but it fits great and does its job great.

What are the horse power and torque gains for this setup? They are listed for the intake kit with the tuner but not this one.

Roush quotes 28rwhp and 27lb-ft of torque, but that was likely a very controlled dyno run. In general, you'll more likely be at 10-ish more peak horsepower and torque out in the real world, depending on fuel octane, climate, and dyno settings.

I bought one of these. Am I supposed to clean out the filter somehow at some point?

The filter will need to be cleaned on occasion. Luckily, it's a dry filter, so no reoiling is required. for dry filters, all you need to is remove it from the truck, use a can of compressed air or low air compressor setting to blow out the larger particles, then use a mild soap (Simple Green, Dawn, etc.) and warm water in a sink or standard hose (don't use a pressure washer) to fully clean out the gunk, then let dry in a cool dry place before reinstall.

On the Roush Cold air intake kit, it mentions a 105mm MAF? does this suggest you also have to by a new MAF or will OEM fit? AND if you have to get a new MAF is it simply "plug n play" or not? these questions need to be answred in your descriptions.

This intake comes with a 105mm MAF housing, but the trucks actually use a MAP sensor for pre-manifold airflow readings and not a MAF sensor at all. Regardless, a new sensor is not required and this intake a is a drop-in, bolt-on replacement for the stock intake that does not require additional hardware or tuning, as it states in the product description.
