The Livewire hooks into your truck's OBD-II port where it pulls its monitoring information and uploads its awesome 5 Star Custom Tune. The Livewire TS+ even has built-in WiFi capability that allows you to download new tunes and firmware updates wirelessly. The Livewire tuner comes with a windshield suction mount, OBD-II cable, and a USB for downloading new software and tunes from your home PC.

5 Star's tunes turn up your 2005 to 2016 Super Duty 6.8L's power by adjusting its fuel curves, ignition timing, fan control, and a ton of other variables so that your aggressive F250 or F350 build makes huge amounts of horsepower and torque. 5 Star's custom tuning even takes into account your truck's tire size, drivetrain, and axle ratio so that you Super Duty operates perfectly with your choice of tune. 5 Star's custom tunes are available in several different flavors for 87, 89, 91, or 93 octane gasoline to give you a huge variation in options for your truck. 5 Star's Economy tunes adjust power levels and transmission function so that your truck gains back some MPGs during city driving without sacrificing power. 5 Star's Performance/Tow tunes greatly improve power levels and have fast and firm shifting with longer gear holding that makes them perfect for towing applications and for aggressive street driving.
Off-Road Exhaust Systems: 5 Star can no longer provide custom tuning for off-road exhaust systems that delete catalytic converters. 5 Star can only tune for catted exhaust systems. However, 5 Star WILL NOT disable your rear oxygen sensors, which may result in a check engine light.

Stage 3's 5 Star Custom Tuning Step-by-Step:1. You place your order for 5 Star's Custom Tunes.
2. Stage 3 sends you a "blank" tuner without custom tunes.
3. You hook the tuner into your vehicle and pull its ECU strategy code.
4. You fill out our
online tune form with the information from your truck and its strategy code.
5. If your truck has Ford's latest strategy updates, we'll forward your information over to 5 Star and get your tunes created.
6. Once 5 Star creates your tunes, you will be emailed a link to download them from our Google Drive.
7. Download 5 Star's tunes to your PC and then load them to your tuning device using SCT's Device Updater Software.
8. Now you can successfully load your 5 Star Custom Tune of choice into your Ford.
