The Late 2021-2022 Ranger 2.3L UPR Single-Valve Oil Catch Can Prevents Oil Blow-By Maintenance Issues

Maximizing the horsepower and torque output of your Late 2021-2024 Ford Ranger means you'll need the cleanest air/fuel charge and highest octane that you can get. However, oil vapor can enter your air intake tract which can lead to inefficiencies, power loss, and maintenance problems. Luckily, the Late 2021-2022 Ranger 2.3L UPR Single-Valve Oil Catch Can is here to help. This easily-installed catch can kit connects right in line with your Ranger's passenger-side PCV line and helps pull oil vapor and blow-by out of your PCV system before it enters your intake. The end result is an improved fuel economy, throttle response, and less mess inside your Ranger's inner workings for improved overall performance. With UPR Plug N Play Catch Can Fittings, you can empty the catch can without removing the intake cover or catch can lines from your engine.

High-Quality Can and Lines with Efficient Capture Design

The Late 2021-2022 Ranger 2.3L UPR Single-Valve Oil Catch Can combines a highly efficient internal oil trap design with a high-quality 2.5" x 6" can and hoses so that it's the last catch can system that your Ranger will ever need. Within each can is a specialized UPR Four-Stage oil separation system that cools and condenses engine blow-by oil vapor into droplets that are then collected within the can. The oil containment chamber features double the size with its 10 oz oil capacity. The can also uses 6061-T6 billet aluminum that is CNC machined for an excellent look and fit. UPR includes a full set of 5/8" UPR braided hoses and billet hose ends that are resistant to oil and corrosion to keep your catch can system operating flawlessly for the life of your 2.3L EcoBoost engine. UPR includes plug-and-play, OE-style PCV fittings that allow for an easy and hassle-free installation of this can. Each kit also includes a high-flow billet check valve, and 360-degree rotating mounting brackets. The can comes with a black finish that offers a great look.

This is a QUALITY catch-can, design and components! Install is especially easy for 2021.5 and up years. The junk it collects that I empty every 3-5000 miles makes me glad that crap isn’t flowing back into combustion.

Does this fit ‘22 Tremor models?

Yes, the UPR catch cans are compatible with the Tremor trim Ranger. The bracket on their kits adds adjustability where you can loosen the set screws and clock the can itself so you won't have any clearance issues with the upfitter switch wiring.

Does UPR make a catch can for newer Rangers that handle both sides (I.e. ccv & pcv)? I noticed that they had a statement that their can that does both is only good for up to ‘21 rangers due to engine design change.

UPR has made changes to the dual catch can kit that has fitment for 19-current vehicles.

Regards Part# UPR5030-281, please better describe the "high quality braided lines." A custom parts fabricator I know says his catch-cans use AN lines (with no check-valves) and are better quality. He claims other types of lines will rot and fail within 6 months. Really appreciate your straight feedback. Big thanks. BTW, I'm a new customer & currently have almost $2000 of items in my WISH List prepping to buy all soon!
