The BDX can also display just about any information your truck outputs through its OBD-II port as a handy gauge so that you know exactly what's going on with your aggressive truck's big V8 engine.

The BDX has a very easy to use menu system that's simple to navigate so that you can find anything you need in a matter of seconds. The large screen of the BDX makes it an adequate monitoring tool, and it can also read and clear DTC codes and datalog engine parameters. If you don't have home WiFi, the BDX comes with a USB cable for hooking to your home PC, as well as an OBD-II cable for connecting to your vehicle.

2. You hook the tuner into your truck and pull its ECU strategy code
3. You fill out our online tune form with the information from your truck and its strategy code
4. If your truck has Ford's latest strategy updates, we'll forward your information over to 5 Star and get your tunes created
5. Once 5 Star creates your tunes, you'll be sent a link to download the tunes from our Google Drive Account directly to your PC
6. Download 5 Star's tunes to your tuning device using SCT's Device Updater Software
7. Now load your 5 Star Custom Tune of choice into your Super Duty

Warranty vs. Non-Warranty Tune Note: there is no difference in function, horsepower, or torque between Warrantied Custom Tunes and Non-Warrantied Custom Tunes. The only difference between the two, whatsoever, is that Warrantied Tunes will have less parameters (i.e. tire size, gear ratio, etc) open to end-user adjustment. Off-Road Exhaust Systems: 5 Star can no longer provide custom tuning for off-road exhaust systems that delete catalytic converters. 5 Star can only tune for catted exhaust systems. However, 5 Star WILL NOT disable your rear oxygen sensors, which may result in a check engine light.
