The BDX device hooks right into Super Duty's OBD-II port and easily uploads your choice of 5 Star custom tune to your 2020-2022 7.3L F250 or F350 in practically no time. The BDX can also display just about any information your truck outputs through its OBD-II port as a handy gauge so that you know exactly what's going on with your aggressive truck's big V8 engine.
Powerful and Ergonomic BDX Tuning Device
Each BDX tuner features a large, bright screen with straightforward button controls that's paired with built-in WiFi and specialized firmware that takes full advantage of Bully Dog and SCT's cloud tuning system. The BDX can connect to any WiFi network or WiFi hotspot that it then uses to download firmware updates and new tunes. The BDX can also hold up to 10 custom tunes which your custom tuner of choice can drop right into the device using your SCT and Bully Dog's Cloud Tuning System. The BDX makes needing to hook the device up to your home PC for firmware updates and new tune downloads a thing of the past, saving you time and headaches with computer capability and driver issues. The BDX has a very easy to use menu system that's simple to navigate so that you can find anything you need in a matter of seconds. The large screen of the BDX makes it an adequate monitoring tool, and it can also read and clear DTC codes and datalog engine parameters. If you don't have home WiFi, the BDX comes with a USB cable for hooking to your home PC, as well as an OBD-II cable for connecting to your vehicle.
Select Tunes by Octane and Performance
5 Star's tunes can turn up your 2017-2022 7.3L Super Duty's power by adjusting its fuel curves, ignition timing, fan control, and a ton of other variables so that your F250 or F350 makes huge amounts of horsepower and torque. 5 Star's custom tuning even takes into account tire size, drivetrain, and axle ratio so that your truck operates perfectly with your choice of tune. 5 Star's custom tunes are available in several variations for 87, 89, 91, or 93 octane gasoline to give you a wide range of tuning options.

3. You fill out our online tune form with the information from your truck and its strategy code
4. If your truck has Ford's latest strategy updates, we'll forward your information over to 5 Star and get your tunes created
5. Once 5 Star creates your tunes, you'll be sent a link to download the tunes from our Google Drive Account directly to your PC
6. Download 5 Star's tunes to your tuning device using SCT's Device Updater Software
7. Now load your 5 Star Custom Tune of choice into your Super Duty
Warranty vs. Non-Warranty Tune Note: there is no difference in function, horsepower, or torque between Warrantied Custom Tunes and Non-Warrantied Custom Tunes. The only difference between the two, whatsoever, is that Warrantied Tunes will have less parameters (i.e. tire size, gear ratio, etc) open to end-user adjustment. Please call us directly at 623-434-5277 with any questions or concerns.
Off-Road Exhaust Systems: 5 Star can no longer provide custom tuning for off-road exhaust systems that delete catalytic converters. 5 Star can only tune for catted exhaust systems. However, 5 Star WILL NOT disable your rear oxygen sensors, which may result in a check engine light.
