One of the most effective ways to give your 2015-2017 F150's front end a whole new look and greatly improved lighting output over stock is with the AlphaRex Nova Series LED Projector Headlights. These stylish headlights use banks of powerful LED board behind specially-designed projector lenses to give your F150 a sharp, crisp, and extremely bright beam pattern that is far more effective than the factory halogen headlights and bulbs. The AlphaRex Nova Series F150 Projector Headlights combine an extremely stylish and aggressive design with some of the latest LED and projector technology to give your truck a pair of headlight that not only looks great, but gets a big improvement in output with nearly flawless function. AlphaRex builds each of their Nova Series headlights around powerful OSRAM LED chips that are housed in their patented Ice Cube 3D projectors that cast the light from the LED chips both forward and to the side to maximum beam breadth while still providing a clean and crisp forward beam cutoff to avoid blinding other drivers. The Nova Series Headlights for the 2015-2017 F150s use three of the Ice Cube projectors for the low beams and a whole other pair for the high beams in each light, giving these headlights huge output. The two-function, smoked LED strip runs the entire perimeter of the headlight housing and features a white LED running light that functions as a true DRL thanks to the headlight's unique module with an add-a-fuse kit. The amber function uses your F150's stock turn signal wiring and has a sequential design that adds a unique look to your F150's signaling. The headlights come standard with clear polycarbonate lenses that are coated to resist both condensation and plastic corrosion. Each pair of AlphaRex Nova Series headlights features a drop-in, plug-and-play install and come backed by a 2-year limited warranty. These headlights are DOT-approved for street use.

2016 F150

First and foremost at night these lights are amazing and the look of the front end is totally changed. Down fall is, what alpha Rex doesn’t tell you when installing you will need a fuse tap…as well as another 10 amp fuse to tap into the slot including the existing fuse…next if you do not have the ability to turn off the DRL system you will need to run forescan on the truck to override the system and turn off drl function that way…if not then the DRL will not work as they should. So that in itself has annoyed me as I don’t have the ability or equipment to make those changes. So I’m very pissed about the lack there of with info on install and “extra” equipment to make the headlights function properly

Headlights went in like a breeze. They function just like they look amazing. Clean cut off line and the 5 led pods look great. I didn’t use the drl wire at all on my install and I’m very satisfied

2016 F150 Lariat 3.5

Lights look great and so far work great (been on for a few weeks) A complaint is even with the purchase of the harness these were not entirely plug and play. The connector for the DRL for the fuse tap was for a micro fuse but the recommended location takes a mini fuse, so i had to go purchase a new fuse tap and cut and splice the wires for it to work. Not a huge deal but annoying to run to the store in the middle of a project (although when does that not happen) Other than that install was easy, the adjustment for the low beams is on top of light and accessible after installed which is nice. These are just as bright as my factory LED's were. I would buy again.

These headlights do have adjusters on the back, and the main vertical adjustment can be accessed from the top just like the factory headlight assemblies.

Yes, these will work on a 2017 Raptor with factory LED headlights. You would just need to add the converter part#810006 from the dropdown box to get the adapter needed to work on LED trucks.

What size low and high beam LED bulbs fit in this? (H7, 9005, etc)

This listing is for the Alpharex Nova series lights which use led projectors and not bulbs so there would be no replaceable bulbs. If you are asking in regards to the Pro series of lights which use halogen bulbs, than Alpharex uses H7 bulbs in their Pro series lights.

All five do not come on for low beam use. The upper three are used for low beams. The bottom two are activated with the high beams.

Do I need a new fuse tap in order to run my DRL, like some of the reviews say or has this been fixed? Also can you make the DRL amber?

To have the outlines run as true, full-time DRLs, you will need to tap into a 12v constant source, and the easiest way is with an add-a-fuse kit. The DRLs are not available in amber at this time.

These headlights reuse the factory turn signal bulb, but they have their own built-in LED projectors for the high and low beams.

The center turn signal reuses the stock halogen turn signal bulb, mostly to avoid having to use resistors to prevent hyperflash with just the sequential turn signal.

I noticed the video is slightly different to the ones in the listing. These having a more individual LED bulb border and the other with a solid LED border. Do these still have sequential turn signals that won't effect bulb flicker?

Our video was looking at the 2018-2020 version of these headlights that only have two pairs or LEDs. However, the 2015-2017 F150 version does still have a sequential turn signal and won't cause flickering.

These headlights come with LEDs for their high and low beams. The headlights will fit on a truck that came with the factory with base halogen headlights without additional hardware. If you have an F150 that came with OEM LED projector headlights, you will need the additional LED converter harness.
