While there's certainly nothing wrong with the factory coilpacks of either the 2011-2018 F150 EcoBoosts or the 2011-2018 F150 5.0L V8s, but if you're looking to maximize the power and efficiency of your truck's motor, swapping out coil packs isn't a bad idea.
