A Stage 3 shopper and friend, Matt has proven himself a real natural with his first foray into the aftermarket, the lovingly dubbed "Black Magic" - and we're betting he won't forget this show-stopping 2016 F150 build. Packing the twin-turbocharged 2.7L EcoBoost under the hood, Matt's build was off to a solid start right from the factory. One of the first things you might notice about this build is that it's riding on some pretty big shoes. What you see there are 35" Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires wrapped around 20x12" Fuel Hostage wheels rocking -44 offsets. It's a balanced, yet eye-catching setup with big enough wheels for showing off, yet enough sidewall in the tires for off-road performance.

In order to make room for those thirty-fives and improve off-road performance, Matt went with Fox's Stage 1 Suspension Package, complete with 2" adjustable front coilovers and Fox 2.0 rear shocks. The upgraded suspension setup and two inches of lift will go a long way in accommodating for this F150's 2WD drivetrain, allowing him to glide over bumps and ruts with the best of 'em.

Matt ditched the factory painted front bumper for Addictive Desert Designs' Venom R Off-Road Front Bumper, and we agree that the new bumper adds an undeniably vicious look to his build's front-end. Meanwhile, the high-strength tubular steel frame and off-road light bar mounts provide utility and protection for those late night trail-runs.

Call 'em rocker guards, call 'em side steps - NFAB's Cab-Length Nerf Bars add a subtle, yet tough styling element to Matt's build and provide a stable platform for getting in and out of the truck. The tubular steel bars will also add a layer of protection from rocks and road debris while Matt's carving through trails.

Not one to settle for "stock" power, Matt upgraded his exhaust system with Stainless Works 3" Downpipes and went with SCT's Livewire TS+ Tuner for some added grunt. Combined with a ferocious exterior, this XL F150 build has become a force to be reckoned with. Compliments to Matt for this rad build. We can't wait to see what he does next!
