I was skeptical at first about this product, but I checked others out and this one seemed the be in my best interest. I have bet installed anything whatsoever on any car, and I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be much easier than expected, some steps are difficult with one person but all in all this is a very sturdy and high quality product. Looks great and sounds even better

This is a well made and designed system that bolted up in about an hour. Turbo lag is noticeably reduced and the overall driving experience is crisper. I’m middle aged and prefer my Ranger to be in the “sleeper” category, without attracting attention from the Law or worse, my wife. This system fits the bill. Visually different with the dual exhaust out the back and just enough sound to be different but not noticeable. Zero drone on the highway. Overall, I’m very happy with the sound for a turbo four. I thought the 4.5” tips were a bit much so I ordered some 3” tips from Amazon and I’m really pleased with the look. I highly recommend for those looking for better response, unique look and mellow sound. Also, I have the tow package and fit was fine with a hitch installed.

Love the sound and it really does seem to have a bit more horse power. MPG has gone up about 1 MPG but the sound is why I would recommend this cat back. Installed by myself. It was pretty straight forward and easy.

Shipping was absurdly fast, ordered part on Monday morning and it was at my door mid day the following Tuesday. Installed myself, was a bit of a pain for one person so a second set of hands couldn’t hurt. Will need to use a 1/2” ratchet or larger to tighten clamps enough. Install took about 3 hours mostly because I had to do a bit of back tracking in order to fit everything together. The exhaust itself sounds great, I spent some time searching for a mellow sounding exhaust as I want to add a down pipe later on and was not wanting it to be too loud afterwards. The exhaust adds a deep sound to the truck that is louder than stock but does not sound like a potato cannon (you know the sound). Added this at the same time as adding a Mishimoto cold air, with the two combined you can hear the turbo spool more and will notice the truck being more responsive when you put the pedal down.

I must say this exhaust is exactly what I was looking for. It looks amazing, sounds tuned and it definitely isn't obnoxious. It will drone slightly at certain RPM's but for the most part it's nice and tame. One thing to note: It does not easily bolt up on a Tremor package Ranger. On the drivers side where the hanger bolts onto the frame rail there is a factory tab sticking out preventing it from bolting on straight up and down as it's intended (See attached picture 1). Because of that the exhaust tip is jammed up against the bumper (See attached picture 2) so I had to mirror that on the passengers side. I am able to live with that but if MBRP made the rubber insulator that was maybe another inch longer for those with the Tremor package I think it would be perfect. Another option would be to just cut the piece of metal that is conflicting with the proper installation, but I want to be able to put my truck back to stock if I have to, so that option wasn't in the cards for me. Overall, the kit was very well thought out, bolted on with no issues, and looks amazing. Just beware if you have the Tremor package that it won't be perfect.

Installation was pain, but the end result of the new exhaust is awesome! It looks and sounds great, obviously, it doesn't sound like V8 but still good. More power and better fuel economy!!
