Through the diligent efforts or both us here at Stage 3 Motorsports and all of our vendors and manufacturers, we've verified the fitments of a ton more Mustang performance parts for both the 2013 V6 and GT Mustangs. We called around, mounted expeditions into the depths of performance aftermarket underworld, and even did a few Google searches to guarantee parts fitment for the newest lineup of 2013 Mustangs. Stage 3 has over 230 individual parts in our inventory that will fit both the 2013 Mustang GT and V6. We have a whole slew of 2013 Mustang performance parts that enhance basically every component and system of both the GT and V6 models. We have 2013 Mustang window louvers, 2013 big brake kits, a whole assortment of 2013 Mustang wheels, 2013 V6 and GT axle-back exhausts, 2013 Mustang spoilers, 2013 V6 and GT headers and mid-pipes, 2013 Mustang GT cold air intakes, and much more.

Our newest confirmations mostly concern the base model 2013 Mustang V6, and our vendors have let us know that their axle-back exhausts, mid-pipes, and the relatively few headers we have for the 2011 and 2012 Mustangs will also fit the new 2013 V6 Mustang no problem. While the 3.7L Duratec is nearly as powerful as the older 4.6L Modular V8, it doesn't quite have that mean roar that eight furious cylinders can spew out at high RPM. Luckily, our 2011 to 2013 V6 axle-back and cat-back systems are expertly tailored for generating a mean, old school muscle car roar that rivals the biggest engine displacements on your block. When combined with the free-flowing nature of most mid-pipes and headers, your V6 will sound like a GT-eating tyrannosaurus while gaining huge horsepower that will keep your Duratec competitive with the best of the Coyote 5.0L V8-powered 2013 Mustang GTs. A full exhaust system with both headers and a new mid-pipe may be your one-stop shop for tons of horsepower, but will require custom tuning. Regrettably, we here at Stage 3 Motorsports can not currently offer any email tuning custom tuning for the new 2013 Mustangs (Updated: 2013 Mustang tuning is readily available). We're on top of the tuning situation, and we'll let you all know when tuning becomes available for both the 2013 Mustang GT and V6. In the mean time, you can always try to find a local chassis dyno to help you out.

If the tuning situation has got you a bit down, you can always make either your 2013 Mustang GT or V6 at least look faster, if not necessarily go faster. We have confirmed fitments for loads of exterior body accessories for basically every panel of the new 2013 Mustangs except for the hood and front fascia. Bits of trim and small touches have been popular items with the Mustang crowd ever since the 2010 facelift, and the 2013 Mustangs ought to be no different. Our finer bits for the 2013 Mustang include quarter window louvers and scoops, side scoops, rear spoilers, and side splitters and skirts. What's most exciting is that most of DG Custom's lineup of unique TruWeave Hydrocarbon exterior parts will fit both the 2013 Mustang GT and V6 models. ''HydroCarbon'' refers to DG Custom's unique water-transfer printing process that allows them to put a flawless carbon fiber weave pattern onto almost any surface at the fraction of the cost of real CF.

Owners (and potential owners) of new 2013 Mustang GTs have a few more options when it comes to power adders, despite some tuning hurdles. Many of our customers who are clearing space in their garages for 2013 Mustang GTs have already ordered one of our ROUSH Performance packages that includes a ROUSH 5.0L cold air intake and ROUSH axle-back exhuast kit that gives your 5.0L V8 an excellent horsepower and torque bump while providing your 2013 Mustang an absolutely vicious exhaust note. On top of ROUSH's top-notch gear, many of our other 5.0L cold air intakes will also fit the 2013 Mustang GT. Each cold air intake works roughly the same way by providing your engine with a larger amount of cooler charge air than your factory air box. This extra air can give your Mustang a significant boost in horsepower and give you the edge over any other new 2013 Mustang owner. However, some cold air intakes change your Mustang's airflow so much that they'll require tuning, which should be available soon.

As we've already confirmed, just about every header and mid-pipe combination that we have available will also fit the 2013 Mustang GT with its 5.0L Coyote V8 and have the potential to send your horsepower and torque ratings skyrocketing by reducing a lot of the back pressure present in the factory exhaust system. Much like the 2013 V6 Mustang exhaust components, the GT mid-pipes and headers will require tuning that is only available at a chassis dyno shop for now available through Stage 3's email tuning. We have it on good authority that email custom tuning options for 2013 GT Mustangs will be available within the next three weeks.

There is a faint glimmer of hope, however, and it starts with ''R'' and ends in ''oush.'' Our good friends over at ROUSH Performance have been working day and night on their [[2011 to 2012 5.0L TVS 2300 supercharger system, getting it adapted to work with the slightly revised design of the 2013 Mustang GT. Much like the newly-announced Stage 3 Roush Mustang, this new TVS 2300 supercharger system will boost your 5.0L V8's horsepower up to an amazing 565hp with a spine-shattering 505ft/lbs of torque. ROUSH is in the final stages of testing this new TVS variant and should have both the hardware and required computer tuning ready to go in the next week or so.

We've been in close contact with all of our supplier and manufacturing partners ever since the the 2013 Mustang was announced. Stage 3 is constantly on the lookout for fitment confirmations and the slow trickle of new designs to match the aggressive facelift will problem turn into an absolute torrent in a few weeks. We may have some news on hood fitment soon, but we want to confirm with the guys and gals over at TruFiber and TruCarbon before we get too carried away. In any case, we're staying vigilant, and here's hoping that a 2013 GT Mustang lands on our front door soon so that we can have a fun, new toy to play with.
