Stage 3's Sedona AZ Greasy Spoon Trail Day April 26th!

We here at Stage 3 Motorsports love to go out and have some fun off-road with our trucks, though usually we go off on our own. This time we're inviting you. All of you, in fact. On April 26th, 2014, we here at Stage 3 are holding a Trail Day up at Greasy Spoon Trail between Cottonwood and Sedona, Arizona. The trail is rated "moderate" by our Arizona trail handbook and should be a good time for just about anyone who tags along. The only real restriction is that we're requiring four wheel drive. We'll meet at the trailhead at 9:30am and hit the dirt. The trail ought to take 1-1/2 to 2 hours, after which we'll head up to Sedona proper for lunch and disperse from there. We're planning on having free giveaways for anyone who shows up and we'll be raffling off some cool gear. We're still nailing down some of the final details, and we'll have a form for you to fill out if you're planning to attend. Anyway, here's the skinny:

Location:

From Sedona:

Greasy Spoon Trail from Sedona

Head west on 89A about 3 miles to Dry Creek Road. Set odometer to zero and go north 2.9 miles to T intersection and turn left. At 4.5 miles turn left again at another T intersection. Continue west after pavement ends and 6.4 miles. At 7.6 miles, Road 152A on left is the start of the trail.

From Cottonwood AZ:

Greasy Spoon from Cottonwood

From 260, go northeast 8.9 miles on 89A. Turn left on 525 and go 3.2 miles to 9513 on right.

Start Time: 9:30 am

Trail Time: 1.5 hours

Required Equipment: 4 Wheel Drive

Lunch Time: 12:00 Noon

Lunch Location: TBD

Give Aways just for showing up:

 • $100.00 Stage 3 Motorsports.com Gift Card
 • Stage3Motorsports.com T-Shirt
 • Other gear TBD

Raffles:

That's all we have for now. Stay tuned for more updates and most specific information as we get more details worked out and see who all is planning on joining us on this little adventure. He's some video of the trail that we grabbed while out on a test run:

Do we just show up and you will have forms to sign there or is there a way to sign up online?

Is trail possible for an 08 superduty?

@Colton: We'll actually have a downloadable form here soon that you'll fill out and send to us. @Chris: as long as your Super Duty is 4WD and not a dually, you will be fine. There's one section of the trail where you'll probably need to fold your mirrors to get by some pine trees, but other than that you ought to be good.

We actually have a .pdf form for you to fill out and send back to us, if you plan on going. Just download it, fill it out, save it as a different file name, and attach it to an email to either [email protected] or [email protected].
