2005-2009 Mustang GT ProCharger Superchargers
ProCharger's lineup of powerful Mustang centrifugal superchargers have been powering some of the meanest Ponies for ages now. These compact, yet extremely powerful supercharger systems dump large amounts of boost pressure into your Pony's cylinders and can easily get you over 100 extra horsepower (or more). ProCharger's superchargers feature advanced designs with high-tech impellers and compressor housings that deliver awesome power gains and excellent reliability. Each kit bolts up to the front portion of your 3V 4.6L V8 and utilizes your factory intake manifold to save you time and money. Like all centrifugal superchargers, ProCharger's systems tend to produce their power higher in the RPM range than most positive displacement kits that allows you to keep better control while driving on the street. After your ProCharger Mustang supercharger system is squared away, make sure to take a look at our clutches and flywheels, suspension upgrades, brake components, and drivetrain upgrades.
What makes a ProCharger Supercharger a ProCharger Supercharger?
While centrifugal superchargers all operate in an extremely similar manner, ProCharger has gone the extra mile to make sure their Mustang supercharger systems are a step above the rest to deliver huge amounts of power while providing quiet operation, an easy install, and unprecedented reliability even in extremely aggressive applications. Their basic P-1SC systems can easily push your Mustang's engine near the maximum horsepower thresholds of its stock internals, and with a few upgrades, can push your Pony far past its factory breaking points and make your 2005 to 2009 Mustang GT stand out among all the rest. If that's still not enough for you, then ProCharger also offers one of their borderline insane F-1A systems that use a ribbed belt, aggressive gear design, and large-volume volute to produce amazing levels of horsepower and torque with the ability to handle up to 1,100hp with the right modifications.ProCharger's Mustang supercharger systems all start with a specialized impeller design. The impeller is CNC machined from aircraft-grade 7075 billet aluminum that can handle extremely high levels of heat and pressure to dump air into your Mustang's intake manifold with 10psi of boost pressure with the stock pulley included in the kit. The impeller is driven by a set of precision-cut gears housed in a billet gear case that provide quiet and efficient operation, no matter your Mustang's power levels. ProCharger's kits are all self-contained and internally-lubricated Mustang centrifugal supercharger kits that use an internal oil reservoir of specially-formulated supercharger oil so that you don't need to tap your Mustang's oil pan to run feed or return lines. Each of these Mustang ProCharger kits come with a three-core intercooler that greatly reduces charge air temperatures and gets your Pony huge power.
