2011-2013 F150 EcoBoost Tuners and Programmers

We here at Stage 3 Motorsports are madly in love with the 2011 to 2013 F150 EcoBoost trucks. It's almost an unhealthy obsession, and we may need an intervention at some point. Honestly, what's not to love? Two Borg-Warner turbos dumping boost into a high-compression, direct-injected cylinders is just too sexy of a thing not to love. When you add in powerful PCM tunes that give it a smidge more horsepower and a whole hell of a lot more torque than an SVT Raptor, the sexy levels shoot through the roof.

PCM and ECU tuning have always been "the thing" to do with turbocharged vehicles since before the dawn of EFI back in the dark ages. Nearly every factory-turbocharged vehicle ever created (outside of hypercars) comes extremely under-tuned off the assembly line. The main reason is to preserve the turbocharger's life expectantly, but also to keep John J. Suburbs from wrapping a car he can't handle around the nearest light pole.

Now enter our lineup of F150 EcoBoost handheld and dash-mounted PCM tuners. Neither you nor we are John J. Suburbs, and we want to dump insane amounts of horsepower and torque onto your 2011 to 2013 F150's motor in one hell of a hurry. All of our tuning devices can upload new PCM configurations to your truck in minutes using its OBD-II port and deliver their impressive amount of power right away. All of F150 EcoBoost programmers are packed to the gills with new software and other features that make them some of the most impressive modifications that you can find for your EcoBoost.

SCT Performance F150 EcoBoost Tune

Edge has the deepest lineup of F150 EcoBoost tuners with their Edge CS and Edge CTS EcoBoost programmers. Both the CS and CTS are full-fledged dashboard monitors as well as tuners, and are able to display a wide range of engine statistics and information that lets you keep tabs on your tuned truck's running condition. While both the CS and CTS have roughly the same features and tunes, the CTS comes with a fully-functional color touch screen that makes it easy to use. Both tuners contain PCM adjustments that can add up to 54 horsepower and 68 lb-ft of torque to your truck, and even feature low and high-altitude tunes for added convenience. To top it off, we here at Stage 3 offer several cold air intake and tuner combo kits for the EcoBoost F150s that can add even more horsepower to your total output.

Edge CTS Tuner

While not being able to live-monitor your truck, SCT's X-Calibrator 3 handheld tuner packs a much more potent punch. SCT's F150 EcoBoost tuner can throw down 51 horsepower and 108 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. The X-Cal 3 also features a nice range of adjustable options, including tire size, speed limiter, and axle-ratios to give you the ability to adjust for a number of performance modifications.

So which should you choose? If you live at a high altitude or want more versatility then the Edge tuners are probably more up your alley, especially when paired with a cold air intake kit. If you want out-and-out power, then go with the SCT X-Cal 3 and stop all over those SVT Raptors in the dunes or at the drag strip.

One little thing to keep in mind before you pull the trigger is that any PCM tuning will, without question void your truck's Ford Powertrain Warranty. If you're concerned about your warranty, then tuning your EcoBoost truck may not be for you. If you do want huge power gains, then tuning is still your best option.
