2013 Mustang Parts Now at Stage 3

Stage 3 Motorsports is now shipping 2013 Mustang performance parts. We've been been in touch with several of our suppliers and Mustang parts manufacturers who've had an opportunity to look at the new 2013 Mustang, and we've determined that many of the high-quality Mustang performance parts in our inventory will fit the upcoming 2013 Mustang GT. While the 2013 Mustang has loads of awesome cosmetic changes and tons of new electronic goodies, the underlying powerplant and exhaust systems are roughly the same, allowing you to slap on extra horsepower as soon you get your 2013 Mustang GT home from the dealership. Stage 3 even has a few exterior accessories that add mean, racer styling cues to the aggressive new looks from Ford and make your brand new Mustang the most unique thing on wheels for miles in any direction.

The 2013 GT Mustang's 5.0L Coyote saw a few changes since 2012 that also brought its total power output up to 420 horsepower. While we're unsure of what kind of performance gains you'll see, what we do know is that several of our Mustang 5.0L cold air intakes will fit perfectly onto the 2013 Mustang, including the ROUSH cold air intake and both BBK's polished 5.0L cold air intake and their newest "Black Out" cold air system. Each of these cold air intakes are able to add significant horsepower and torque gains by improving airflow into your 2013 Mustang's intake manifold without the need for computer recalibration.

Ford decided that the 2012 Mustang GT exhaust system wasn't broken, and left the mufflers, inlet tubes, and kickover pipes exactly the same for the 2013 GT Mustang, allowing basically any 2012 Mustang performance exhaust kit to fit. A huge variety of cat-back and axle-back exhaust kits will fit the rear valance and hangars of the 2013 Mustang GT, including our recently added lineup of Borla axle-back kits that are worshipped worldwide for their brutal, racing exhaust tones.

The 2013 GT Mustang has roughly the same engine exhaust ports, exhaust manifolds, and mid-pipe more or less as previous 5.0L GT Mustangs and all of our headers and mid-pipes will fit the 2013 model for enormous horsepower and sound gains. Our good friends over at BBK Performance have confirmed the fitment of their best-selling 5.0L long tube headers that match up to their catted x-pipe or off-road x-pipe. You can also check out our complete long tube header and mid-pipe packages from American Racing, SLP Performance or the Pype's Complete ''Super Beast'' system for your 2013 Mustang GT. Each of these complete kits can deliver up to 40 extra horsepower to a standard 2012 GT Mustang, and we here at Stage 3 Motorsports are excited to see what power gains are possible on the 2013 Mustang GT, but we do have one word of warning. As of right now, there are no tuning options for the 2013 Mustang, and all of our long-tube headers will require a new tune to prevent engine damage. Stage 3 is extremely confident that custom tuning options will be available soon, and we'll be able to get the most out of your 2013 Mustang performance parts. Still, if you're not convinced, just throw some BBK shorty headers onto your factory mid-pipe and save the major performance gear for a later date.

Now that you have your new 2013 Mustang moving a bit quicker, it's time to make it look faster. Many 2012 Mustang exterior parts, especially full body kits, hoods, front and rear fascias, and others will not fit the revised styling of the 2013 Mustangs. Even though Ford went hog-wild on the front and rear of the 2013 Mustang GT, they managed to leave her love handles alone and a decent selection of quarter window scoops and louvers and side skirts and splitters will fit the 2013 Mustang. One of our favorite new bits for the quarter windows are DG Custom's ''Vector'' scoops that come with DG's own Hydrocarbon paint scheme that mimics the look of real carbon fiber. Speaking of carbon fiber, TruFiber's carbon fiber side splitter is one of the most aggressive and awesome exterior parts out there and will look right at home on the sleekly modern 2013 Mustang. Despite the serious amount of cosmetic changes that Ford made to the 2013's rear, the trunk lid's shape and underlying structure are similar enough to the 2012 model that our current lineup of wings and spoilers will fit the 2013 Mustang GT, including the aggressive CDC RTR aluminum rear spoiler found on their RTR Mustang.

Our buddies over at ROUSH Performance have let us in on the ace up their sleeves. The only question being ''how much?'' Stage 3 Motorsports is currently taking pre-orders for the ROUSH 2013 Mustang TVS 2300, so call us today at 1-877-5-STAGE3 or 623-434-5277 to get on our lists and be one of the first 2013 GT Mustang owners to break the 500 horsepower mark.
