Total Blacked-Out F150 & SVT Raptor Lighting Package

This Stage 3 exclusive lighting package includes smoked headlights, tail lights, and the 3rd tail light. All have smoked lenses and black housings to give your 2009 to 2014 F-150 or Raptor an aggressive new look and awesome, blacked out styling. All of the lighting components included in this kit bolt-on right in place of stock and reuse all of your factory wiring to make install and operation simple.

Dual-Beam Headlights with Halos and LEDs

Unlike your factory single-beam reflector headlights, Recon's Projector Headlights feature a dual-beam design with a low-beam projector lens and high-beam reflector. This new design features a 40% improvement in light output along with a wider more usable beam pattern as compared to your factory installed OEM headlights. Both of the new lenses are surrounded by awesome CCFL "Angel Eye" halo rings that shine extremely bright and have a much cleaner look than LED halos. Speaking of LEDs, the LED strip underneath the beams adds an aggressive aftermarket touch to your truck and can be wired practically any way you see fit.

Awesome Taillights with Smoked Lenses and Housing

Going right along with the aggressive headlights in this package is a pair of Recon LED taillights that feature black housings and smoked lenses. Though much darker than your truck's factory taillights, the huge bank of 24 LEDs provides much more light than stock so that everyone behind you can still see your signaling and running lights. Recon's LED taillights are a dramatic change in appearance for the rear of your truck that will instantly turn heads whether you're on the street or the trail.

Bright and Easy to Install Third Brake Light

While maybe not as big and bad as the headlights or taillights included in this kit, the Recon Smoked LED third brake light is a great touch that rounds out your truck's lighting package and completes its awesome look. The brake light's smoked lens lays on top of powerful 3mm LEDs that produce far more intense and bright light than your truck's stock halogen bulb which makes your truck's signaling easier to see from behind. The third brake light easily installs right in place of stock and reuses all the factory wiring to make it one of the easiest and simple lighting upgrades in our inventory.

Factory HID fitment: the wiring included with the Recon headlights is not directly compatible with the optional factory HIDs on 2013 to 2014 F150s. Cutting, splicing, and the complete removal of your factory D3S Bi-Xenon HID System is required for proper fitment. Call 1-877-578-2433 for details.

Recon's Warranty: Recon offers a 90-Day Limited Warranty for manufacturing defects, including condensation. These lights do have a breather vent that allows for pressure changes, which can trap some amount of moisture and cause condensation problems. Condensation issues will not be covered outside of Recon's 90-Day Warranty period. Read more about condensation and fogging over on our blog.

Recon lighting package
Lights all look fantastic, but have been disappointed with the lighting ability of the reg low beams, regardless of there claims they don't seem to put out nearly as much light as the stock setup. Also adjusting the beam path is time consuming and hard to do as have to remove lights to get to it. I have also had troubles with the halos not working 100% of the time especially after rain or dampness, and yes I insolated the connections! Tail light also look outstanding. only issue I had on install was the driver side light- the top bolt hole did not line up very well and I kinda had to force it, witch now is not a problem but fear will come one with bulb change is needed for rev light. All and all products look perfect but for the money would like to see a little more function

Product from a quality stand point was well designed and seemed to be made of quality components for the head lights and tail lights but the third brake light was a step below the other two items. The head lights and tail lights were completely sealed, the third brake light had a thin piece of plastic covering the components in the back. Kinda tacky and a bit lazy I felt in the manufacturing process. As far as directions they were no where close to what was required on my truck for the front head lights or the third brake light. I had to trouble shoot and research on the net. The rear tail lights were just plug and play. Over all I am very happy with the purchase just keep in mind that not everyone is going to be able to figure out the wiring by themselves. I am a construction electrician and I have also worked on cars all my life.

Easy to install and looks great. The only thing I did different was that the bulbs that came with the headlights were not very bright so I switched them out for brighter ones.

F150 Raptor
I love these lights. The illumination is far better than the stock lights, especially on full beam, and the LED and CCFL accents are awesome. The smoke look adds to the distinctive look of my truck. They were very easy to install, although you will need metric sockets to remove the stock lamp on the F150. You also have to remember that each headlight needs 5 red Dorman (red ones are 18-22 gauge) quick connectors (or similar - these are the ones shown in the instructions) to gang the LED wires to each other and then in turn to the CCFL wires (2 for black, and 2 for white), then one to the sidelights, so don't start the job before getting enough of them. When fitting the third brake light, the colour of the wires in my truck didn't match the description in the instructions, but there was no problem with fitting it, and figuring out the wiring. Slight drawback for me was that this light doesn't seem as bright, and doesn't light the bed up as well as the stock light, but the tradeoff in appearance is worth it. Remember, you will need 18-22 gauge pig nuts or quick connectors here too. The rear lights were very simple to attach, and look great too. The wing mirror signal lights seem more involved, as you have to tear down the mirror assembly to remove the stock reflectors, which I have yet to do, but those will be the final details that will give my truck that stealthy aggressive look that I wanted.

Installation for the entire set was easy. Shame that you have to give up the RED Alert for the third taillight. If you are looking to still have some light coming from the third taillight to illuminate the bed, I wouldn't recommend it as the smoked body barely allows any light to filter through. I had to get in contact with Recon twice for issues with the headlight assembly as the wires that connected the inverter to the CCFL came apart and I had to replace the connectors with butt connectors. Not mad about it, only as long as Recon is keeping their promise to not void the warranty if anything else goes wrong that requires the set to be sent to them. The LEDs are pretty weak on the taillights. Projectors were kind of a pain to adjust. Screw holes did not line up on most of the lights front and back. Quality seems pretty cheap (thin plastic). But it looks good, and everything works.
