The All New completely redesigned 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor will finally be available late summer 2021, designed to soar through the desert the all new Gen 3 Ford Raptor features a slew of upgrades starting at the front with a newly designed FORD Raptor grille. The 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor will accommodate optional 37-inch wheels stock from factory. Ground clearance for the 2021 Gen 3 Raptor with the standard 35-inch tires is 12.0 inches and 13.1 inches for the 37-inch tire option. Larger 37-inch tires on the all new 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor pushed Ford to create an entirely new F-150 Raptor frame to accommodate the larger wheel size under the bed as a spare.

Seeking more confidence over rough terrain at all speeds the Ford team developed an all new five-link, coil-sprung, live-axle rear suspension that allows not only for larger 37-inch tires on the all new 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor but put's more torque to the wheels since the axle is no longer being pinched. The 24-inch coil springs are the longest in class giving the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor 25 or 37 up to 15-inches of rear suspension travel and 14-inches in the front for the 35" tire option while the larger 37" tires allow for 14.1" of travel in the rear with 13" in the front.

With a completely redesigned 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor fans were anxiously waiting for Ford to release details on the upcoming Raptor R model, Ford said to expect the Ford F-150 Raptor R in 2022, Brian Bell F-150 Marketing Manager at Ford says "It will help us expand the lineup to those customers looking for the next level of performance vehicle, kind of like we did with Shelby with the GT350 and GT350R, that same kind of relationship," Bell says. "It will have a V-8 engine in it." and with that being said we can't wait to get our hands on these models and test them for ourselves!
