5 Star's custom tuning provides your 2017-2020 Raptor's HO 3.5L EcoBoost V6 with some of the best bang-for-your-buck power gains on the market in a simple package that can have your truck churning out massive levels of power and improve its shifting. 5 Star's custom tuning adjusts key parameters and tables within your Raptor's engine computer so that it squeezes out impressive levels of horsepower and torque without the need for any "hard" bolt-on performance parts. TThe increased power output is combined with altered transmission tuning that's carefully designed to fill in some of the gaps in the 2017-2020 Raptor's own driving modes while giving you and your Raptor more across-the-board power and torque. You get five 5 Star Custom Tunes, as well as Bully Dog's canned performance tunes on your BDX device.

5 Star's tunes turn up your 2017-2020 3.5L EcoBoost Raptor's power by adjusting its fuel curves, ignition timing, fan control, and a ton of other variables so that your truck makes huge amounts of horsepower and torque. 5 Star's custom tuning even takes into account tire size, drivetrain, and axle ratio so that your F150 operates perfectly no matter your modifications. 5 Star includes a Street Driver Tune for 85 to 89 octane fuel, a Street Performance Tune for 85 to 89 octane fuel, a Street Driver Tune for 90-93 octane fuel, a Street Performance Tune for 90-93 octane fuel, and a Stock Driver tune for all octanes that removes the factory digital limiters without a power increase. The more general tuning scheme preserves all your Raptor's adjustable powertrain modes, keeping your Raptor capable of just about anything while adding horsepower and torque.

SCT devices and software are only compatible with Microsoft Windows computers

Warranty vs. Non-Warranty Tune Note: there is no difference in function, horsepower, or torque between Warrantied Custom Tunes and Non-Warrantied Custom Tunes. The only difference between the two, whatsoever, is that Warrantied Tunes will have less parameters (i.e. tire size, gear ratio, etc) open to end-user adjustment.

Off-Road Exhaust Systems: 5 Star can no longer provide custom tuning for off-road exhaust systems that delete catalytic converters. 5 Star can only tune for catted exhaust systems. However, 5 Star WILL NOT disable your rear oxygen sensors, which may result in a check engine light.

2017 FORD RAPTOR

BullyDog is awesome. Using the BD with 5star tune - 93 daily driver and has improved my throttle response, torque and 0-60 dramatically. Very pleased!

Will these tunes work on a 2019 F150 Limited that has the same HO 3.5L Ecoboost engine?

It depends on your truck's strategy. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get your truck's strategy and verify that SCT can tune it.

Bully Dog still does not yet have tuning support for the 2017 Raptors, but once that support does exist, this device will ship out. If you need tuning right away, your best bet is the HPTuners nGauge with 5-Star Custom Tunes.

This device is for pre-order only. SCT/Bully Dog do not have full tuning support for the 2017 Raptors as of yet, and this device will ship once that support is available. If you need a tuning device right away, then check out our HPTuners nGauge with 5-Star custom tunes.
