The Coyote 5.0L V8 under the hood of your 2015-2020 F150 is a capable motor that can handle big horsepower and torque without breaking a sweat, but to unlock its full potential, you're going to need one of the most powerful bolt-on upgrades out there: Ford Racing's Boss 302 intake manifold. Our friends over at 5 Star Tuning have put together this awesome package that allows you to do a bolt-on install of the Boss 302 Intake Manifold on your F150 and it includes a pair of powerful custom tunes that take advantage of the more efficient airflow characteristics to give your truck huge horsepower and torque gains. This kit includes a Boss 302 Manifold modified to delete your truck's intake manifold runner control valves (IMRC), a specially-fitted K&N cold air intake kit, and two 5 Star custom tunes to get everything running properly and at peak efficiency.

Adds Horsepower and Torque, especially in Higher RPMs

5 Star's Boss 302 Intake Manifold Package gets your truck excellent horsepower and torque gains while increasing your redline past 6500rpm to create more high-end power. This Boss 302 Manifold package can add as much as 48 peak horsepower and 25 lb-ft of torque to your F150's output, all without a dramatic loss in low-end torque and with a more linear power curve so that your 2015-2020 F150 5.0L runs strong through it's entire rev range. Each of these packages includes install instructions and basic hardware for installation.

Modified K&N "Black Hawk" Cold Air Intake Kit

Because of the Boss 302 Manifold's much taller height than stock, your factory intake tubing isn't going to fit. To remedy this, 5 Star includes a modified K&N intake that allows for easy and clean installation of the Boss 302 Manifold without the need to chop and modify your factory intake tubing. The K&N kit also offers up improved airflow over stock, which gets your F150's new Boss 302 manifold more air for improved efficiency. The K&N Black Hawk Hawk kit has an aggressive blacked-out color scheme and black reusable air filter that not only looks great, but also adds power.

5 Star's tunes turn up your 2015-2020 F150 5.0L's power by adjusting its fuel curves, ignition timing, fan control, and a ton of other variables so that your F150 makes huge amounts of horsepower and torque. 5 Star's custom tuning even takes into account your truck's tire size, drivetrain, and axle ratio so that your truck operates perfectly with your choice of tune. 5 Star's custom tunes are available in multiple variations for 87, 89, 91, or 93 octane gasoline to give you a wide range of tuning options.

The 5.0L V8 under the hood of your 2015-2020 F150 does its job admirably, and while it's mid-range power is actually pretty great, it does tend to lug around anywhere outside of that. The Boss 302 Manifold Changes all of that by getting you excellent levels of low-end torque, more power all through your truck's rev range, and a ton of high-end horsepower with an increased redline over the stock manifold and tuning. 5 Star's test truck managed to put down a peak of around 290 horsepower and 290lb-ft of torque on the dyno. With 5 Star's Boss 302 Manifold Package and a 5 Star 93 octane tune, their test truck threw down 325 horsepower and 310lb-ft of peak torque. A gain of 35 horsepower and 20lb-ft of torque. What's more impressive is that peak horsepower came in at 6250rpm, which is long after the truck would've hit the rev limit on the stock intake manifold. Not to mention, the combination of the manifold and tuning added 35lb-ft of torque below 3000rpm, which can make your F150 jump that much faster off the line and get some extra pulling power.
