Perfect Combination of Sound and Performance
Now you can maximize your truck's engine performance and and exhaust note all in one awesome package that brings out the best in your 2011 to 2014 F150 3.7L V6 truck. Stage 3's Phase 3 package includes an aFe Stage 2 cold air intake, a Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust Kit, and your choice of either an SCT Livewire tuner or X4 Handheld tuner pre-loaded with aggressive 5-Star Custom Tunes to bring an impressive increase in power, throttle response, fuel economy, and sound all in one convenient place. All of this kit's components are extremely easy to install and give your V6 F150 amazing gains with practically no hassles.
More Efficient Intake that's Easy to Install
A cold air intake is usually the first upgrade for just about every vehicle on the road, and your 3.7L F150 ought to be no different. That's why we include one of aFe's Stage 2 Cold Air Intake kits in this package. aFe's kit features an open-element air filter, heat shield mount, inlet tubing, and MAF housing that all drops right into place of the upper half of your truck's air box and disposable paper air filter. Each of aFe's Stage 2 kits is built around one of their highly efficient Pro 5R oiled air filters that brings in a much larger volume of air at cooler temperatures than stock to give your truck a nice boost in horsepower, throttle response, and fuel economy. This Stage 2 intake can be installed in half an hour using common hand tools.
Aggressive 3" Magnaflow Cat-Back Kit for Sound and Power
The 3.7L V6 F150 doesn't come with much of a sound from the factory, and is easily the quietest of Ford's F150 lineup. That's why we include a complete Magnaflow 3" cat-back exhaust kit in this package. Magnaflow's kit features a factory-style single side exit and uses larger and more efficient tubing, as well as a performance muffler, to reduce some of your stock exhaust's back pressure for good performance and fuel economy gains. Magnaflow's kit also gives your truck a much more aggressive sound through its specially designed muffler and deletion of your truck's stock resonator. While definitely louder and meaner than stock, Magnaflow's kit has low levels of drone and rasp so that your new exhaust system won't drive you crazy. Magnaflow's kit is made out of 409 stainless steel and comes standard with a big 4" polished tip for a great look.
Choose an SCT Livewire TS+ OR an X4 Handheld Tuner
This performance package comes standard with an SCT Livewire TS+ Tuner / Vehicle Monitor, but you can switch to the cheaper, more simple SCT X4 in the drop down menu above. The Livewire features a full-color touchscreen display that allows you to easily keep tabs on your F150's engine parameters, check DTC's, and efficiently navigate all of your available custom tunes. It is extremely easy to use and includes a windshield mount, OBD-II cable, and a USB cable to download custom tunes from your home PC.
NOTE: Both SCT tuners use the same custom tune files and will produce the same power gains.
Select Tunes by Octane and Performance
5-Star's tunes turn up your 2011 to 2014 F150 3.7L's power by adjusting its fuel curves, ignition timing, fan control, and a ton of other variables so that your truck makes huge amounts of horsepower and torque. 5-Star's custom tuning even takes into account tire size, drivetrain, and axle ratio so that your F150 operates perfectly with your choice of tune. 5-Star's custom tunes are available in several variations for 87, 89, 91, or 93 octane gasoline to give you a wide range of tuning options.

With its factory tune, 5-Star's test truck put down peak numbers of 220 horsepower and and 218lb-ft of torque. With 5-Star's 93 octane Performance/Tow tune, their truck managed to throw down 233 horsepower and 229lb-ft of torque, a gain of 13 horsepower and 11lb-ft of torque. While the peak gains aren't overly dramatic, 5-Star's 93 octane Performance Tune provided a whopping 210lb-ft of torque at 2500rpm, while the factory tune barely managed to crank out 170lb-ft, and not flattening back out until 2700 rpm. That's a 40lb-ft difference in low-end torque that now comes in earlier than stock, meaning you can still get improved low-end grunt, even if you stick with lower-tier fuel.
