Even 5 Star's 87 octane tunes can provide a massive increase in torque, especially in the lower reaches of the RPM range, where the stock tune falls flat and can suffer from noticeable turbo lag. The huge difference in torque and horsepower at 2500 rpm gives your 2011 to 2014 EcoBoost more pulling power for towing, hauling, or rocking around off-road. While there is a larger drop-off in horsepower in the upper RPM ranges than the stock tuning, you still end up with more peak horsepower than the factory tune.
